Flora's Faces
I developed this project as a way to try and nurture an interest in, and establish emotional connections with plants. Faces are always looking out at me as I walk through wild places and I have found sharing them to be a fun and engaging way to encourage people to find their own, whilst interacting with nature in a unique and creative way.
As well as wild spaces, I also enjoy visiting Botanic Gardens for this project. With the wide variety and diversity of plants present, there are some amazing faces to be found!
A few of my favourites can be viewed below. I have named each of them based on the expression or characteristics of the face I see.
There are more faces hiding in this one.
Two protruding branches on right are either a ducks beak or rabbit ears (tilt your head for the rabbit!)
